Did you see that movie “Blue Streak”?

Question by sob_125: Did you see that movie “Blue Streak”?
First off, I think Martin Lawrence is rascist in real life, escept when he looks at white women. I saw “National Security”.

Now, wasn’t the way he was physcially beating that guy in the police interrogation room illegal? That was assult. I’ve seen that crap on TV, I’ve even seen them slap the person on a TV Preview commercial of “Law and Order”. Isn’t that illegal? Doesn’t the person have rights and could then use that assult against the cop and have the cop get in trouble or their sentance reduced if they bring that up?

Unless the suspect tried to get physical, isn’t that illegal assult by the cop? Seeing that stuff on TV makes me so mad.

I think you take things a little too literally.. but I’m going to join you. In “Transformers” why is optimus prime’s voice so stupid? Don’t you think an outerspace autobot would have a waay cooler voice? Why does “Braveheart” make Robert the Bruce look like such a wimp when he was the one who freed the Scots, and William Wallace actually went into hiding from the Brits for like five years? Oh yeah, and why does that hospital on “Grey’s Anatomy” have all the best surgeons in the world in their hospital.. like the best surgeons aren’t just scattered somewhere else? God, it really pisses me off.

Well I don’t think Martin Lawrence is a racist and what about white women ….aside from that it is against the law for the police to use excessive force.. unless you plan to become a criminal why do you care?

  4. Dog Lover Says:

So much of Hollywood give people a false impression of police work.

In real life if I was tuning up people while questioning them, here is what happens:

    1. Arrested and charged with Battery.
    2. Sued in civil court.
    3. Investigated by the FBI for civil rights laws violations.
    4. Probably end up in Federal Prison.

So, look at t.v. and movies for what they are……. Entertainment.. not education.

Ppl like you see these things on TV and it affects the way you regard real police. You may have issues you need help with. TV is not real………ppl are paid to entertain you and everyone likes to see a criminal beaten up. Unfortunately it does not happen so much in real life
